UTS College — Enterprise HubSpot CMS at Scale

UTS College is a pathway provider to the University of Technology Sydney, serving both domestic and international students. Webcoda originally designed and built the UTS College site back in 2019 on a different CMS. When the client wanted to consolidate around HubSpot's broader CRM and marketing tools, we ported the existing site across to HubSpot CMS — proving the platform could handle a 1,400-page institutional site at scale.

The Brief

UTS College already had a site that worked — we'd designed and built it back in 2019. What they wanted now was to unify their digital stack inside HubSpot so the same platform powering their CRM and marketing automation could also power the website. That meant migrating a 1,400-page institutional site across to HubSpot CMS without losing the design, content, or performance the team relied on.

The Approach

This wasn't a redesign — it was a straight port. We carried the existing UTS College design across to HubSpot CMS, rebuilding the templates, modules, and content structure so the site looked and felt the same to visitors while running natively on HubSpot. The work involved custom templating, large-scale content migration, and configuring the CMS so the UTS College team could manage 1,400 pages day-to-day without needing developer help.

The Result

The migrated site now manages over 1,400 pages inside HubSpot CMS, fully integrated with UTS College's CRM and marketing tools. The initial feedback from the client was how fast the new site felt, and usability has been excellent — once we trained their team, we barely heard from them, which is always a good sign. With the platform consolidation done, the next phase is a full redesign on the same HubSpot foundation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The UTS College build proves it. The site runs over 1,400 pages across multiple content types on HubSpot CMS and performs reliably under the high-traffic demands of student recruitment. With proper templating, structured content modelling, and a disciplined migration approach, HubSpot is a genuine enterprise-grade option.
UTS College wanted to consolidate their digital stack. Their CRM and marketing automation already ran on HubSpot, so moving the website onto the same platform unified content, marketing, and customer data in one place. The result is tighter personalisation, simpler workflows, and fewer integration headaches.
That's a common assumption, and one the UTS College build directly challenges. HubSpot CMS can absolutely support large-scale, content-heavy institutional sites when you bring strong information architecture, custom modules, and a structured build process. The platform's reputation as "just for SMBs" reflects how it has typically been used, not where its real ceiling sits.
Carefully, and with a plan. We start by auditing the existing content and mapping it to a clean HubSpot information architecture. From there we build reusable templates and modules, script content migration where possible, preserve URL structures and redirects to protect SEO, and run staged QA against the live site before cutover. The aim is a port that feels seamless to end users and content editors alike.
Very. With well-built modules and clear editing patterns, marketing teams can update pages, publish content, and run campaigns without involving developers. After we trained the UTS College team, day-to-day support requests dropped right off — a good sign that the editing experience is doing its job. It's one of the strongest arguments for choosing HubSpot CMS at enterprise scale.
